About the Author

Rachel Zirkin Duda is a woman with diverse interests and abilities. After studying psychology at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, she moved to New York City to become a professional actress. Several years later (and many dollars poorer), she returned to the DC area and developed a part-time photography business (pun intended). She has penned numerous theater reviews for Theatre Bloom magazine. She is currently living in her hometown of Greenbelt, Maryland, with her 19-year-old son, S, who is the light of her life, and the inspiration for her book, Mending, Together, Building Together.
